Our Story

Local expertise.

Premium heating.

Trusted for generations.

The Randall Heating name is synonymous with quality products and excellent service. Originally a refractory business supplying brick products to the Greater Launceston area, Randall's transitioned into home heating almost 50 years ago. We are a generational family business and have been continually entrusted to supply premium wood, gas and electric heating to local Tasmanian families.

Owner Mike James has been a pillar of the heating industry in the North since 1982, including decades of hands-on installation experience. This expertise ensures that the Randall Heating team can assist in all facets of your heating project, from design to realisation.

In the outdoor cooking category, our longstanding history as Launceston's sole Weber Specialist Dealer ensures access to market leading BBQs and exclusive products not available anywhere else. More recently, our cooking appliance division has welcomed world renowned pizza oven brands Gozney and Ooni.

We’re proud to be part of this community and deeply grateful for our continued local support. Our mission is simple: to elevate the way Tasmanians live through exceptional heating, premium products and genuinely local service — helping create homes and outdoor spaces made for enjoying the Tassie way of life.
